Book the workshop space

The workshop space at Common Good, 69 Forest Street in Castlemaine. Tell us about your event and we'll confirm a slot. Workshops carry more operational risk than meeting rooms, so we ask a few extra questions before locking in a date.

Please share these access details with everyone you invite

We want everyone who comes through our door to feel welcome. If you're running a workshop here, please state these access details up-front in how you promote it so people can decide before registering, and ask anyone who signs up whether they have needs you should know about. To be honest about where we're at: there are two steps up to the front door, and our bathroom isn't wheelchair accessible. We're working to improve this, but right now we can't change either. If that would exclude people who'd otherwise want to come, the space isn't yet the right fit for your workshop.

Not sure your event suits this form?

Two ways to get in touch instead. Use our contact page for the full set of options, or fill in our expression of interest (it covers a lot of the same ground as this form). Either way, we'll come back to you within about a week.

Attendance

Who is the event open to?

How many people?

Best guesses are fine. Groups over 30 are reviewed manually.

Will there be any mess, noise, or physical risk?

Most planning days, meetings, and book clubs are low-impact. Tell us if your event has materials, food prep, sound, or movement.

Any compliance considerations?

Alcohol, catering, ticketed public events, children's activities, or permits.

How will attendees pay (if at all)?
